Actually, there is something called WordTsar which is supposed to be somewhat WordStar compatible but I'd have to rip a bunch of stuff out like "save as" and "Save block" or "load file" and things like that. The user should absolutely not be able to interact with the files on the operating system other than the message file they're presented with. I can look into it but that's more like a long term project.

If you do find something else that's maybe more BBS friendly, let me know.
