Subj : FTN Help Please? To : All From : Kurisu Date : Sun Jun 14 2026 20:16:03 Update: in browsing https://wiki.synchro.net/module:binkit my blind self saw at the very bottom an Errors section with the following similar enough error listing with solution: Callout to 3:330/1@fidonet started. Connection to f1.n330.z3.binkp.net:24554 failed. This error means that the linked node (3:330/1@fidonet in the example) is not DNS-resolvable. You'll need to use a nodelist for the fidonet domain or a “BinkpHost” value for that node (with the IP address or host name of the node) in your sbbsecho.ini file. Which, if these are indeed the same core scenario, means I'd need to add the nodelist (which I heard wasn't needed anymore in most software, but I guess I was grossly misinformed?) or configure each node individually, which I DID try previously and, as expected, didn't work, since my config in Micronet, as our example, exists *only* for 618:250/1, and not 618:250/10 (again, even with them being the same system AFAIK, my credentials are for /1, not /10. If it's really that simple I'll smile and fix it in the afternoon, and wish I had done that earlier this evening. _________ Kurisu Yamato www.xadara.com --- SBBSecho 3.37-Linux * Origin: Revertive Pulse - revertivepulse.net (618:250/50) .
