That certainly is a valid point - although it's in the platform's best 
interests to keep users (and user numbers) high and any manipulation on the 
part of the platform can be accomplished with feed algorithms.

I want a platform to not show promoted ads in my feed, and allow me to 
easily sort my feed in chronological order instead of being driven by an 
algorithm. Is that so hard?
