We can get contracts with power providers and natural gas providers that offer sales in Maryland. There are a good many of them these days. This way, I can buy cheap electricity from companies that offer it and the same with natural gas. Unfortunately it does appear rates are on the rise here now so my next contract will likely be more. At the current time, I have 5.9 cents/kwh for 6 months and 29 cents per therm of natural gas.
