It's amazing how well you can hear conversations you're not supposed to with hearing aids.  Mine are behind-the-ear models and you can't really see the audio tubes going into my ears.  With my ability to fine-tune how the hearing aids operate with my smart phone, it is hilarious to listen to some the bizarre conversqations around me...
