Things are changing here in the US but my insulin I take is patented so the
cost is very high.  Two pens of my U/500 cost around USD$1600 and that is
with insurance.  Now I pay $16 a box for two pens through the VA.

However, things are getting cheaper here but still too much.  God help the
diabetic in the US that doesn't have insurance.
