Hello All,

Trying to synchronize the three HDDs I use to keep my multimedia collection on 
and I found I had several movies in .ts (MPEG-TS) format from decades ago. 
ffmpeg to the rescue!  Been spending my evening converting those .ts files to 
..mp4s and learning to use rsync to make sure I have everything synced.  Those 
..ts files, once converted, clean up very nicely.

Sometimes the most mundane things can be interesting.
