Yup there appears to be Emby compiled for different Linux flavours... I don't
see Slackware listed, I think thats what distro you're running?

It seems like none of these media-servers are perfect, theres definately some 
quirks in Emby but learned to live with them and in some cases work around it.

IPTV and recording my wonderful trashy shows has a learning experience.
