So the 'Dead Internet Theory' has proven itself to be true once again. I'm
trying to find the text of an alleged extra-terrestrial encounter from
sometime during the late 80s through to possibly the early 2000s. It involved
the receipt of a message warning about other alien species' with a particular
mention of caution regarding those from a particular stellar system. Of
course, the internet these days has been completely taken over by corporate
interests and as such I find it very difficult to find any website that
offers a compilation of historical encounters - everything points to
endlessly repeated news sites peddling the same recycled stories ad nauseum.

Does anyone know of any websites (or even gopher links) that compile reports
of encounters, regardless of how fantastical they seem to be? I've tried
reddit, but that place is an absolute mess. Any help would be appreciated
