There is a kind of truth serum that disassociates reality from a guided story. How it works is a person is injected with some sort of disassociation agent and the person is walked through a scenario in which they actually think that they're the person being talked about as if they were thinking to themselves. It is a trick of putting a person into a dream state which resembled a person talking to themselves while sleeping.  The victim lays down on a couch with the lights dimmed, and floats off to a state of forgetfullness, in which they are asked questions by the questioner and the practitioner directs or guides the discussion to elicit information that would never be revealed by any ohter method.  The victim actually thinks that they are just talking to themselves.  The voice instructions are calm.  The state of mind of the victim resembles meditation, only guided meditation.

Basically, the victim is comfortable and is talked to in a gentle manner and reveals secrets in a form of beliving that they are only their very own thoughts.  Something like this would have been referred to as SoAP 'n SUDS.  Of which expands to Sodium Amytal/Phentanyl or more simply put "Some Unkown Drug Serum."  There are much more refined drugs in use these days, but you should know that these varieties of drug serums do in fact exist, so don't let yourself get rendered to the opposition or you may become a toy scholar.
