However, when it comes to book piracy the only reason it has been considered piracy is the stance of governments that makes it so. There are many third world countries where it is perfectly legal to copy media as you see fit. This thing about getting into trouble for sharing media is a Western idea and decision. Really what is termed as piracy is the greatest respect of all, that you care enough for a book that you would share it with a friend. Paying for books should be subsidized by the government, with those who pay for the books being libraries, schools, businesses, and students. On that last part though I'm not certain, as some students would argue that they should get their school books for free as they are just using them to learn from. Just my thoughts...
