Quantum physics is the science, and the birth of an ostrich is an unwanted
side effect.  There is a technology called quantum encryption.  Its basic
premise is that it is completely secure, as if the signal was intercepted
between sender and receiver then the communication link would fail.  This is
due to the principle of entanglement, where two can communicate well, but
interception completely cancels the communication link.  You wouldn't need to
constantly be on the lookout for Man-in -the-Middle (MiM) attacks because
from the scientific princples behind quantum communication any attempt at
tapping into the signal immediate breaks the connection.  The ostrich is the
manipulated signal and so long as its birthed it can try to hide it head in
the sand, but everyone knows its an ostrich and its not supposed to be there.
