Back when I used to listen to Alex Jones, he would go on about the secret plans
to crash the dollar to bring about the Amero, or SDRs, depending on what day of
the week and what mood you caught him on. If you're a globalist, hanging a
unified currency on a sovereign nation will certainly hobble it. Look at Greece
- if they'd stuck to the drachma they could have devalued the currency, brought
in a ton of external currency and recovered like countless other countries had
done. Tied to the Euro, their fate was sealed.
