This is just a short note: I think that Monero will really come of age when it can and is bought and sold through an Automated Teller Machine (ATM).  I don't expect this to ever be from one of the big banks, but I wouldn't be surprised if one day Monero can be bought and sold like paper fiat currency is currently done.  I like the idea of an untraceable currency.  If its your money, and you legally earned that money, then you should be able to spend it in such as way as to protect your privacy.  Yes, I keep thinking about all the horrible things that could be bought and sold with such an anonymous currency, but think again on how many amazing things that could be done with it: from paying journalists, to anonymously sponsoring charities, to anonymously sponsoring candidates for a full tuition being paid for by a philanthropist.  I am thinking of the amazing surprises that people could give to people in the form of anonymous gifts in rewarding people.  It could be a lot of fun for both the gifter and the recipient.
