Religion has many accounts of RV.  

Science is "not sure" but continues to spend much effort on RV.

The Government side struggles with extracting a consistent RV product, as what works is hard to repeat.

Is RV a perception of close correlation alternate realities?  M-Theory suggests that an awareness, while not universal, is possible.
