Killing someone with a fast acting weapon can expose the assassin of his evil
deed, however security services such as the USSR-type states are rumored to
be using microwave and other radiation-based weapons to slowly kill their
victims.  There are microwave emitters used in Farady Cage Rooms that are
placed inside of these rooms and turned on full, then the door to the rooms
are closed and people with high-end TSCM (technical surveillance
counter-measures) units are activated outside of the room to detect any
leakage in EM (electro-magnetic) radiation.  Basically an assassin buys or
steals one of these emitters and places it near the target, such as at work or
at home and day by day more and more ionizing radiation goes inside the body
of the victim and they get sick, tired, and eventually die.  The units seem
to work in the upper microwave spectrum and emit 2 MW (mega watts).  So if
you are involved in the security field and your opposition knows who you are
and has access to you, you might want to buy some kit to detect a radiating
source.  The EM radiators can be detected as being TSCM testing gear by
looking at them thoroughly and noticing that there is only one connection to
the power line and no signal lines coming in.  In other words, they just plug
in and emit EM without having a signal coming in to broadcast.  If you have
bothered the former Soviet Bloc intelligence agencies you can be certain that
if they hate you enough you will possibly be a target, even if you think you
live in a "safe" country like Canada, GB, USA, or AU.  The New-School USSR
foreign policy includes assassination of those that speak out against the
regime, and they DO kill.  My best advice: stay away from the former Soviet
Bloc and don't travel to police states.  My two cents.
