There has been a lot of speculation about the HAARP antenna array and what
exactly its good for or what it does.  Some of the other ideas are probably
true as well, however, the main purpose of it is to be a weapon used in war
that, once activated in a certain way changes the ionosphere so that the
ionosphere no longer reflects the same frequencies of radio waves.  In short
it changes the reflection of short-wave frequency transmisions so that they
don't propagate, and (it seems) that another frequency range would take the
place of HF (high-frequency) RF (radio frequency) reflection.
