Having various renditions of "Q"'s Lab of Ridiculousness, being a member of an intelligence crew gives you "perks" in the form of chemical substances that can be requested to enhance your productivity.  Here enters "Amphetamine," specifically Dexamphetamine, one of the safer versions of Amphetamines that will keep you up for a long long time and improve your ability at doing just about anything else.  Being a sp00k you could request such a substance for performance enhancement.  Its not just giggles though, it has been found that Amphetamines can cause paranoia in people.  Whether you choose to use substances really depends on your personality and your access.  I remember in the TV show, Mr. Robot, the protagonist regularly did drugs to help him in his late night hacking.  Dexies used to be available over the counter in the USA, currently they are now listed as controlled substances.  Its like adding nitro to the fuel tank, initially it can be good times, but over a while the nitro damages the engine.  And whatever you do, if you choose to use Dexies or other Amphetamines then DRINK A LOT OF WATER!! If you don't you could easily dehydrate and die.

Like one of my previous messages that I posted earlier today, if you don't want to get into trouble then don't break the law or your conscience.  Not taking Dexies means that all the trouble that comes upon a person because of their drug use would not come upon you, because you have had nothing to do with the practice.
