Yes I have one ... I mostly just use the FM radio part.

Never heard of Chrip and it didn't come with a USB cable (can't remember).

I'll look for the Yaesu FT-817 or 897 field radio, after I pay the IRS off.
Thanks for sharing this information. I have a Kenwood R-1000 sw radio box that
hadly ever get turned on this days. Will start using it to scan the dx-waves
again. I'd like to get into buying better equipment sometime soon.
