I used to activate my mobile unit EVERY time I got in the truck
to go to work, etc. Lately my wife and I have been riding together,
so it's not been started in a LONG while...

When we visit our son in Indy, though, and I'm making a run to
the store or for food, if I'm by myself I usually turn it on. 
They have a LOT of simplex traffic and several active repeaters
there! Wish it was like that here! :-)
