Its hard for me to not recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 for less than half 
the price, particularly if you want to do some art or just browse the web.

If the rumours are true, Samsung is currently gearing up to show off its next 
generation of Galaxy tablets, but despite being nearly two generations old, 
the humble Galaxy Tab S9 remains a great-value tablet for casual users and 
artists alike  particularly now that its down to just AU$579. That's an 
impressive 55% discount and the lowest price weve ever seen it for. 

Samsung kind of mastered the Android tablet recipe with the Galaxy Tab S9, 
and when you can save such a jaw-dropping amount of money its difficult to 
justify purchasing the Tab S10 Plus or S10 Ultra instead. 

An awesome 1,600 x 2,560 resolution, 120Hz display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 
processor pushed the Tab S9 to the forefront of the Android tablet market, 
and it even competes well with upper mid-range Apple iPads like the Air (and 
even to some extent the smaller Pro). 

With 55% off the Tab S9, it's now only slightly more expensive than the 
base-model iPad  and offers both more storage, a more advanced display and an 
S Pen stylus. 

Including 128GB storage and an S Pen, the Galaxy Tab S9 is worth considering 
whether youve been looking for a tablet to draw with or just a casual slate 
for watching shows or browsing the web. Samsung has guaranteed security 
updates for the Galaxy Tab S9 until 2028, so even though a newer tablet will 
remain supported further into the future, the brilliant Tab S9 still has many

In our Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 hands-on review , we praised the tablet for 
pushing the envelope with its stunning display, IP68 rating and included 
stylus. However, back in 2023, we were critical of the fairly run-of-the-mill 
hardware upgrades over the S8, along with the base price when it launched. 

Never mind those two points, however  the Galaxy Tab S8 is only expected to 
receive Android upgrades for another six months, and security updates will 
likely end in mid 2027. The Tab S9 gives you a bit more time, with software 
updates ending in August 2027 and security updates on offer until August 
2028. 

As for the price: well, the AU$720 saving with this deal speaks for itself. 

Will you feel a bit of FOMO for not getting a Tab S10, or not waiting around 
for the Galaxy Tab S11 reveal? While I cant speak for where your head is at, 
as somebody who has used both the Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S10, Im pretty 
confident in recommending the S9 at this major discount. 

Want a slightly newer tablet? A major point in favour of the Tab S10 family 
is that each model has seven years of guaranteed updates  with support ending 
for the S10+ and Ultra in 2031, and 2032 for the FE and FE+. There are some
