Instead, we were looking for words that describe the act of standing by someone and offering them SUPPORT at a time of need. I digress, but in Googling the film Stand By Me I noticed that its runtime was one hour and 27 minutes, something that seems incredible today in our era of ultra-long movies and similarly ultra-long TV episodes.
