You can Rescan areas in FTN and go back as far as your HUB has messages.  When 
I connect to a new FTN I usually RESCAN and grab the last 364 days of messages, 







































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































but you could try to go back farther.
 
With an FTN you Rescan using AREAFIX, which is a specially formatted netmail 
message.
