Thanks man, I had a major panic earlier... I wasn't receiving mail and turned
out my /mystic/echomail/in folder was deleted... don't know why but some
other service on my bbs system filled up the disk space which made it go
borky for a while until I figured it.

after recreating the folder structure /mystic/echomail/in and
/mystic/echomail/in/unsecure I could poll and use mutil again and mail
started flowing again.

Thanks for confirming the test ... TLDR; don't fill up your disk space or
borky thing will happen.
