Oh... hmm, that should not happen :)
The .openxp directory has a "debuglog.txt" file, maybe that could help at  
the next try?
I also had the problem of a process lockup, but only if I had configured  
Nodelists in OpenXP. This should be solved, as I got in contact with  
Gunter in de.comm.crosspoint - he will release a new version soon.

I tried GoldEd+ with Synchronet, and while it kind of works, it seems to  
have huge problems with the QWK areas (DOVE-Net). Also I did not find a  
way to configure NetMail...
