Just the other day, I was looking up example code (non-jQuery) for a cross-browser JavaScript function for getting an XMLHTTP object, and someone had some special code for IE to let it run in local mode. I hadn't seen that before.. I have a function I wrote some years ago to return an XMLHTTP object, and it works locally and when the site is on a host, but it still has some cross-browser issues. jQuery helped with that, but now I'm running into this issue with jQuery.. I thought jQuery was supposed to make things easy. ;) Nightfox --- þ Synchronet þ Digital Distortion BBS: digitaldistortionbbs.com .
