In this context, it was used mistakingly. :) :( Sorry, my bad. NodeJS is not
dependent on JRE AFAIK for the reasons you state--they are separate
tecnologies.

Yar. I have yet to start developing Metro apps against it, but I imagine I'll
do so later this year, I am interested, if not a little skeptical.
