This is a list I found that someone made of things that are lacking/bad in

I think much of this list is mainly opinion, but I thought it was interesting.
 I think many of the points are justifiable, but many of the issues can be
worked around.  I still think C++ is a great language and could probably be
considered the grandfather of many newer programming languages we see today.
