It's about 1 in 10 calls that work for me:

# grep 'connection to 2:203/0@fidonet failed' binkd.log | wc -l
151

# grep 'done (to 2:203/0@fidonet, OK' binkd.log | wc -l
15

Or maybe it's half that, because IPv6 always fails, and it tries that first.
