My guess is US-based ISPs have tonnes of IPv4-addresses reserved and think they can get away with not investing in IPv6. Now I need to say, I do have IPv6 parallel to IPv4 but when it drops to IPv4 for whatever reason or the other I don't notice until Wilfred calls me after a day or two-three. We all know technology renews faster and faster and I wonder if US-based (and Canadian?) ISPs are not playing Russian roulette with their customers...
