New in version 2.0: - full drag and drop moving and copying between browsers and tree - built-in Emacs-like and mouse-operated QuickEditor with X-copy/paste - toolbox splittable into function key bar and mini-toolbox - toolbox and key bar attach to tree or browser depending on focus - expanded directory history stack - multiple interactive suffix rules can be defined per suffix - operation with 1- or 2-button mouses is simplified - much better support for non-english languages and weird X-Servers Incompatibilities: - The files in the .uc directory are renamed. They have no leading dots anymore, i.e. ".ucdb" is renamed "ucdb". Additionally, .uc_license is renamed uclicense to be consistent with the overall naming scheme. Old .uc_licenses continue to function. - The database files are not perfectly compatible. It is possible to start UC 2.0 from a renamed UC 1.5 database file, but not recommended. - the ucsfx file supports multiple rules per suffix. To see how it works, do not rename your old .ucsfx but run UC to generate a new ucsfx file and take a look at it. Cheers, henrik@UniX11.com .
