This directory contains the latest version of VIS-5D.  We've introduced
a revision-naming scheme to help people know when updates have been made.
The letter following the version number is the revision designator.  For
example:

   vis5d-4.0a.tar.Z  is the first revision of version 4.0.

The next time we make improvements or bug fixes we'll bump the revision
letter to 'c':  vis5d-4.0c.tar.Z

You may want to periodically check the ftp site for such updates.

To check which version of VIS-5D you have you can either
   1) type 'vis5d' alone and look at the first line of help
   2) look at the top of the vis5d control panel window, above the copyright
