Hi All,
New on here, looking for info mainly. But I'm in the middle of
a complete rebuild from a 1975 2.25P 88inch.... it's becoming
something more like a leafsprung defender....
Started as:

Although I've pulled it apart again to install a recon R380 and
LT230. So it's not as pretty anymore.... also needs a new king
pin and have to chase an oil leak, and a brake fluid leak (I
dont know how they leak when it's all new gear :( )

Welcome to the Madhouse :giddy:
Very interesting as I have just collected a 200 Tdi + LT77 +
Transferbox to go into my 88"Hybrid.
Will be asking questions if you don't mind :smilewide:

Thanks everyone!
There has been many many hours in the shed. I started 2 years
ago and thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but
now I'm trying to fit that R380 the light has gone out! Plus
chasing leaks and tweaking brakes. I'll get there eventually.
I have a defender windscreen that I'm going to switch to - when
I get the soft top bits to convert it. I'm tall so I want it to
be able ot see without ducking.
Also have a powersteering setup from a "county" - i think you
just called them a 110? (I'm from Australia) So one day in the
future that'll be going in - probably after I've been out and
got it real dirty ;D
I'd love to get parabolics too, but price is killing me at the
moment.
