LWB double roof

i've got 2 LWB double roofs: 1 is currently on the landrover but
dented both outer skin and slightly the roof itself. the other
roof is dismantled (i bought it separately) but army green and
only the outer skin is dented and in slightly better condition.
what should i do? which best to fix?

Think I'd try to make one out of the two TBH.
To do them both properly, the "safari skin" will need to come
off.
Most importantly is do you know which roof is waterproof ?

well the one cureently installed doesnt leak very much as far as
i know... but that's the most dented. can it be fixed in place?
and is the safari skin easy to take off and but on again?

Not too bad..... :eek:
Seen worse.
Think you'll need to take off the headlining. The ones I did
didn't have the lining before we got started on them and
afterwards we fitted a LaSalle one..
Worth to do it properly or not as it very much shows..

Safari skin is riveted down two of the roof ribs and bolted down
the sides, not difficult to remove and refit. Probably need
fresh rubbers for the plastic bolt spacer tubes.

Should have thought pop rivets would be original, no way to get
to the back of the rivets.

i email lasalle and they told me series landrovers never had
headlining. can someone confirm?
