----------- BLOODSTORM Boss FAQ Version 1.1 ----------- This is a brief movelist for the eight Agents of Nekron and the two endbosses, Chainsaw and Nekron himself. It also tells you how to play as them. ----------- Updates: 5/19/4: First release. 5/23/4: Added some additional comments about Default Passable Powers for Golem, Ratchet, and Wraith. Changed the wording of some sections. Made a note about Shadow in the Play As Agents/Bosses section. Remembered Leif's full name. :) Remembered to re-format the darn thing to 72 characters per line. ----------- Legend: B: Back F: Forward U: Up D: Down C: Charge (hold the previous motion. B, C means hold "back" for a few seconds). All Sunder and Decapitation names are mine, because the game doesn't give them. The bosses have no Fatalities. Most characters have no default passable moves when you play as them, not even those of the character they're cloned from, which is why I don't list those moves. (So Golem doesn't start with Earthquake, Blood doesn't start with Hellfire, etc). The ones that provide upgrades (Ratchet, Wraith, and Golem) do start out with those upgrades as default powers. They can learn passable powers normally. The "Passable Powers" listed are those that the character has when you fight them, not when you play as them. You cannot learn any powers from any of the bosses, except as noted under Golem, Wraith, and Ratchet's sections. ---------- THE AGENTS ---------- BLOOD Agent ??? Learned Passable Powers: None Fireball: D, DF, F + BACK ARM (may be done in air) Bloody Sunder: D, DB, B + FRONT ARM Blood's Storm: D, DF, F, DF, F, D, DB + FRONT ARM Special: The only agent to use Nekron's Gauntlet instead of the Agent Gauntlet. Comments: Based on Hellhound. In fact, if you perform a Decapitation on him, it's Hellhound's head that falls to the floor. (The sprite normally has no head at all, other than the fountain of blood). --- CRANIAC Agent Six Learned Passable Powers: Special (same as whomever you were just fighting) Nekron Shell: D, DF, F + BACK ARM (ground or air) Power Surge: D, DF, F + FRONT LEG Brainy Sunder: D, DB, B + FRONT LEG Cerebral Scratch: D, DB, B + FRONT ARM Comments: Based on Talon. Nekron Shell shoots a projectile identical to the one that Nekron's Gauntlet shoots. --- DIMENTIA Agent Three Learned Passable Powers: Special (same as opponent you were just fighting) Third Eye Shock: D, DF, F + BACK ARM (ground or air) Flying Shadow: D + FRONT LEG (air only) Thrust Kick: two F + BACK LEG (air only) Hand Spring Kick: FRONT LEG after falling down Psycho Sunder: D, DB, B + FRONT LEG + FRONT ARM Head Trauma: D, DB, B + FRONT ARM Comments: Based on Tempest. --- GOLEM Agent Four Learned Passable Powers: Special (same as whoever you were just fighting), Smart Mines Agent Drill: D, DF, F + BACK LEG Horn Drill: B, C, F + BACK LEG Rolling Horn Drill: D, C, U + BACK LEG Shadow Punch: B, C, F + BACK ARM Smart Mines: D + BACK LEG + FRONT LEG Undead Sunder: B, C, F + FRONT ARM Braaaaaaaaains: D, DB, B + FRONT ARM Special: You learn Smart Mines by beating him. (No symbol will be added under your life bar for this. This will override Mirage's Mines. You will NOT also learn Mirage's Grenades ability if you haven't beaten her, nor will grenades appear on your character's belt). Comments: Based on Tremor. Golem's moveset varies the most from his playable counterpart. Agent Drill shoots a projectile identical to the one that the Agents' Gauntlet shoots. Golem always knows the Smart Mines ability, even with no symbols under his life meter at the start of a new game. --- RATCHET Agent Eight Learned Passable Powers: Surgical Laser Surgical Laser: Hold BLOCK, press F, F Jagged Spike: D, DF, F + BACK ARM Maximillion: repeatedly hit BACK ARM Robotic Sunder: D, DB, B + FRONT ARM Blow Out: D, DF, F + away + FRONT ARM Special: You learn Surgical Laser by beating him. (Razor's symbol will appear uner your lifebar. This will override Razor's Optical Laser) Comments: Based on Razor. Jagged Spike releases a projectile that nobody else in the game uses. Surgical Laser is his default move, and he always knows it. --- SHADOW Agent ??? Learned Passable Powers: All abilities and upgrades Fireball: D, DF, F + BACK ARM (may be guided, and may be done in air) Cranston Sunder: D, DB, B + FRONT ARM The Weed Of Crime: D, DF, F, DF, D, DB, B + FRONT ARM Special: Shadow cannot be stunned, so Sunders and Fatalities can't be used on him. Of course, he's also invisible except when he gets hit. All you can see of him is his shadow (or reflection in certain stages). Shadow also always has all abilities and upgrades. Comments: Based on Freon. Blood and Shadow have the same moveset and general body shape. Hellhound and Freon also have the same body, but different stances. ---- SIN Agent ??? Learned Passable Powers: None Jump Kick: B, C, F + BACK LEG Wire Whip: B, C, F + BACK ARM (must have BACK ARM) Wall Jump: In air, pull joystick away from the wall. Warp In: D, DF, F + FRONT LEG Warp Out: D, DB, B + FRONT LEG Seven Sunder: B, C, F + FRONT ARM Sinful Strafe: D, DB, B, UB + FRONT ARM Comments: Based on Mirage. The only one of the Agents who isn't hidden, the only Agent to have a move that doesn't correspond to a controller motion of the original character (Mirage has no B, C, F + BACK ARM move), and the only Agent to have a slightly different fighting stance than her counterpart. --- WRAITH Agent ??? Learned Passable Powers: Incendiary Bombs Incendiary Bombs: D, DB, B + BAKCK ARM Air Slime: D, DF, F + BACK ARM (in air) Air Slice: B, C, F + FRONT ARM Back Flip: B twice Shadow Boot: D, DF, F + FRONT LEG Slime Gun: Single Shot, Low: D, DF, F + BACK ARM Double Shot, Low: D, DF, F + BACK ARM, two B Single Shot, High: B, C, F + BACK ARM Double Shot, High: B, C, F + BACK ARM, two F Double Shot, High/Low: B, C, F + BACK ARM, D, DF, F Triple Shot: B, C, F + BACK ARM, two F, D, DF, F Quadruple Shot: B, C, F + BACK ARM, two F, D, DF, F + two B Ghost Sunder: D, DB, B + FRONT ARM Headless Horseman: D, C, U + FRONT ARM Special: You learn Incendiary Bombs by beating him. (Mirage's symbol will be added under your lifebar. This will override Mirage's Grenades. If you haven't already beaten Mirage or Golem, you will also gain the ability to lay *one* Mine. Probably a glitch). Incendiary Bombs is his default power. Comments: Based on Fallout. ---------- THE BOSSES ---------- CHAINSAW Entire move list. Chainsaw cannot duck. His moves are the same whether done on the ground or in the air. While he can have powers passed to him from the main characters, he cannot actually use them. Rushing Claw: BACK ARM Diving Claw: FRONT ARM Tail Flip: BACK LEG Charging Bite: FRONT LEG Slow Charging Bite: F Flying: hold U (release U to drift down to the ground, hold D to fall quickly) Sunder: None Decapitation: None Comments: Yes, moving forward is actually an attack. If you beat the game with Chainsaw, you get Freon's ending. However, doing so is difficult, as he changes to Freon after every match. All fights while controlling Chainsaw take place in the Inner Sanctum. Every win with Chainsaw is considered an Armless Victory. --- NEKRON Entire move list. Nekron cannot jump or duck. While he can have powers passed to him from the main characters, he cannot actually use them. Jab: BACK ARM Hook: FRONT ARM Shadow Punch: F + BACK ARM or B + BACK ARM Roundhouse kick: FRONT LEG or B + BACK LEG Shadow Slide: BACK LEG (also with any joystick direction but B) Sunder: None Decapitation: None Special: Normal punches and kicks can cut off limbs. If you lose one round as Nekron, he gains his Gauntlet. Nekron can fire his gauntlet by pressing F + FRONT ARM, without the usual D, DF, F motion. Nekron can neither throw nor pick up his Gauntlet. Comments: If you beat the game with Nekron, you get Freon's ending. However, doing so is difficult, as he changes to Freon after every match. All fights while controlling Nekron take place in the Inner Sanctum. (The fact that he automatically gets all powers and can't be stunned suggests that he can't be selected by any normal means - he's too unbalanced as a playable character) TAUNT CODES Between matches, when you normally put in a Trash Talk code, enter the following: Sin: L, R, BACK LEG, BACK ARM, FRONT ARM, FRONT LEG Golem: L, R, FRONT LEG, FRONT ARM, BACK ARM, BACK LEG Ratchet: L, R, FRONT ARM, FRONT LEG, BACK LEG, BACK ARM Craniac: L, R, BACK ARM, FRONT ARM, FRONT LEG, BACK LEG Dimentia: L, R, BACK LEG, FRONT LEG, FRONT ARM, BACK ARM Wraith: L, R, FRONT LEG, BACK LEG, BACK LEG, FRONT LEG Your character will change to the indicated Agent, with all the powers you've learned so far (including the default power of the character you started with) intact. Blood, Shadow, Chainsaw, and Nekron cannot be gotten by this method. PASSWORD CODES After selecting your character, enter the following as your password. Note that, since they're password codes, you cannot use your own stats with these. If they'd polished it up a bit (and toned down the gore a smidge - do we really need intestines on the opening screen? Save it for the fatalities), it would probably have been a lot more well-known than it was.
