Version C1 X02 (Updated: 15:58 PM 17/07/2006) > Updated Game Guide - - - II. USING THE GUIDE Within this Game Guide, each new section for the Walkthrough will be spaced out. For example, "Agrabah" will be written as "A g r a b a h". You will be able to skip all the stuff in between and head straight for this section if you do the following. INTERNET EXPLORER / MOZILLA FIREFOX USERS = Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your screen. = Select 'Find, or simply hold Ctrl, then hit the F Key. = Input the name corresponding to the specific section you are having difficulties with, then select 'Find'. NETSCAPE USERS = Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your screen. = Select 'Find in This Page', or simply hit Ctrl, then the F Key. = Input the name corresponding to the specific section you are having difficulties with, then select 'Find'. With the amount of e-mails I've been receiving regarding the same issue, an enormous amount of improvements were made to several sections of this guide. These changes were made to assist people with these problems in much better coverage. I've removed several references to treasure chests throughout the guide and placed them all within the Treasure Chest section, instead of the Walkthrough. If you are looking to read information in a particular section in this Game Guide, such as "Agrabah", type "A g r a b a h" in the search parameters and select 'Find Next'. If the name of the location consists of more than one word, add each of the spaces between the letters as usual, and then add three spaces between each word. This is much less confusing than it sounds. Remember, because of the game mechanics in Kingdom Hearts 2, there may be a few occasions where you will be visiting the same place more than once. For example, when returning to the Olympus Coliseum for the second time, you'll type "O l y m p u s C o l i s e u m", and then press 'Find' twice, rather than once. - - - III. WALKTHROUGH Start Kingdom Hearts II by selecting 'New Game'. You will then be prompted to select a mode of difficulty. Selecting one mode over another increases the difficulty of enemy encounters. There are two gauges you need to take note of in this battle. First is the health gauge, which displays your current health. This battle is over when you run out of health. The blue gauge displays your current Magic Power (MP). Magic abilities can display one of two different colors. When it's displayed in white, it will consume a patial amount of your magic power. When the ability is displayed in orange, it will consume all of your magic power. Another returning feature is the Lock-On command. This is used by pressing the R1 Button. This command will be used to locate your target and display remaining health information. After this battle has begun, start attacking Seifer. Seifer will use two main attacks on you. He will either strike you with an aerial attack, or several consecutive attacks. Seifer's aerial attack will cause quite a bit of damage, but can easily be avoided. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O After defeating Seifer, you'll arrive in the woods. Chase the Dusk into the Old Mansion. Your selection will effect how Sora will level in Kingdom Hearts II. The Sword Raises Strength. Increases Attack Power. The Staff Raises Intellect. Increases Mana and Magic Power. The Shield Raises Defense. Increases Attack Reduction. Following your selection, you will battle three Dusks, receiving a Keyblade to do so. The Keyblade is a weapon capable of destroying enemies that other weapons cannot. Remember to use the Reversal command, as the ability should definitely come in handy throughout Kingdom Hearts II. After the battle, open the nearby treasure chest to create a door. Continue into the Station of Calling. STATION OF CALLING Head up the path to the third platform, defeating the Dusks on the way. You should see a door leading you to the Twilight Thorn. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O \ \ HP: 300 / Boss Battle: Twilgiht Thorn / \ \ O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Twilight Thorn has one of eight attacks, four of which you will be able to counter. Watch for the Reaction commands carefully, as Twilight Thorn will easily beat your to oblivion. When the Twilight Thorn begins to charge up, run after it's head and begin sending out your basic attacks, using Potions when necessary, as this will be a difficult battle. Once the screen transitions to white, Roxas will be held in place, unable to act. Watch for a series of Reaction commands, pressing the triangle button once it has prompted you to do so. Once Roxas has performed a series of counter- attacks, Twilight Thorn will create a circular form, then send out several Nobodies. Use the Reaction commands to reach Twilight Thorn's head. Repeat until the Twilight Thorn has been defeated. Should you run low on health, defeat the Nobodies to receive HP Balls. He will do a three hit combo. If you hit him too many times, he begins blocking your attacks. When you see him move off into the distance, move to the side to avoid Hayner's charge. You'll be unable to use Reaction commands, so try to remain behind him. He shouldn't be too difficult. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O \ \ HP: 105 / Mini-Battle: Seifer / \ \ O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Once Hayner has been defeated, you have the option to battle Seifer in the Back Alley, near the entrance to the Sandlot. Fight Seifer as often as you want. Simply exit and re-enter the Back Alley and challenge him once again. Seifer will use two main attacks on you. He will either strike you with an aerial attack, or several consecutive attacks. Seifer's aerial attack will cause quite a bit of damage, but can easily be avoided. It will also leave Seifer wide open, giving you a great opportunity to attack. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O \ \ HP: 105 / Struggle Match: Vivi / \ \ O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Vivi is quite evasive to most of your physical attacks. He jumps back, and then charge at you with an attack. Vivi's second attack will charge at you with a spinning attack. Vivi's third attack will charge at you with a horizontal swing, which will then be followed by a massive ground impact. Pay close attention to Vivi's moves, and strike after he has made an attempt to attack you. You might be able to score at least two combos on Vivi during this time. Vivi's final attack will cause him to levitate into the air, then start to circle around you, waving his weapon wildly. Watch him closely so you will catch his pattern. This will help you avoid this attack. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O After defeating Vivi, you will begin a battle against three Dusks. Once the Dusks have been defeated, you will encounter Axel. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O \ \ HP: 105 / Boss Battle: Axel / \ \ O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Axel is quick, and dual-equipped. After he kneels, move out of the way, as he will quickly charge towards you and strike you down with a strong fiery attack from behind. However, this leaves him wide open for an attack. Axel's second attack is prompted when he shouts, "Don't make me mad!". The attack sets Axel ablaze, rushing towards you, and then dealing a string of attacks. One strategy that works against Axel is to jump into the air once he begins his string of attacks. At that point, turn around and attack him from behind. A second strategy is to push Axel into a corner and unleash several combos on him, though it's risky because Axel can just as easily send you in that same corner. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O After defeating Axel, the Struggle competition will continue with your last opponent. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O \ \ HP: 105 / Struggle Match: Setzer / \ \ O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O This battle can play out one of two ways. If you win, you will receive the Champion's Belt. If you lose, you will receive a Medal. Setzer is a decent challenge, and quite quick, but will often rest to catch his breath. Setzer does his best to provoke you, which gives you a good opportunity to attack. Finish with a combo before moving off to the side, because he will quickly regain his focus. You'll want to attack Setzer either from the side, or from behind, because Setzer will counter-attack whenever he manages to block your attacks. Though Setzer may be slow, he has two attacks that are quite powerful. His aerial attack, and his consecutive jab attack, both being rather difficult to avoid. Keep moving, and strike once he leaves himself open. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | The Fifth Day | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Exit the Usual Spot to the Back Alley, and then continue to Station Heights. The surrounding area is set ablaze with a massive wall of fire. You cannot be near it, because it does burn you. Axel will constantly escape into the fire, and rush towards you with a wall of fire trailing behind him. Using the Lock-On command and Reaction commands are essential to defeating Axel. Watch for the "Burst Edge" Reaction command to appear, as this gives you a good opportunity to score an aerial combo and some decent damage. If you see Axel set himself ablaze, move out of the way and don't let him hit you, as this is one of Axel's most powerful attacks. You'll be able to restore the stability of the gate by collecting orbs dropped by the Heartless. Hayabusa will make several attempts to move you away from the palace. You can't really avoid this, so just run back towards the palace. Don't worry about attacking Hayabusa, as Shan-Yu will just as easily send it back out within moments. Once the Heartless have been defeated, turn your focus to Shan-Yu. He will strike you several times consecutively, so it's rather difficult to attack him. Your best bet would be to clash weapons, and then perform a Breakdown Reaction command. You'll need to press the triangle button repeatedly once you clash weapons. The only way that you can avoid this is by running around in the direction it's spinning. It may also attempt to suck you into to darkness, and then spit you back out. Fortunately, it will not deal too much damage. It will hide quite often, so you will constantly need to press the Lock-On command. At some point in the battle, the Shadow Stalker disappears into a pillar against the wall, prompting you to attack the one filling with dark energy. Approach this pillar and start attacking it. Once the Reaction command appears, release the Shadow Stalker, then attack it once again. When the Shadow Stalker moves to the chandelier, strike the chanelier until the Reaction command appears. Push the Reaction command to release the Shadow Stalker. Similar to the Stealth Sneak, the Dark Thorn remains invisible quite a bit. At that point, you'll be able to defeat the Pirates. Use the cannons to strike at the Black Pearl, but don't stray too far away from defeating the pirates that board the Interceptor. Donald and Goofy might make this battle more difficult than it needs to be, mainly because they will just attack a pirate when they see it, instead of bringing it into the moonlight. If you are having a problem with them, use your Summon command to bring out Chicken Little. This will temporarily get rid of Donald and Goofy. Oogie Boogie cannot be attacked while on the platform above, but he cannot directly attack you either. There are three controls that Oogie Boogie has access to while on the platform above the conveyor belt. First, Oogie brings down a large glove that will crush anything below. The glove starts at one end of the conveyor belt, then moves towards the other end. If you can manage to sneak past it, you can completely avoid it. Second, Oogie sends out several packages that look similar to the ones you knock up to the platform he's standing on. This will only occur when Oogie is over a different conveyor belt than you. Each time Oogie Boogie moves over a different conveyor belt, you will need to approach the entry point. Locate the conveyor belt Oogie Boogie is over, then press the Reaction command corresponding to Oogie Boogie's location. Oogie falls onto the conveyor belt once enough packages have landed on his platform. At this point, you have a short time to attack him, so switch to Valor Form and unleash your strongest attacks. After Oogie Boogie returns to the platform above, the conveyor belt speeds up dramatically. Spam the jump button and jump away from the spikes behind you to avoid unnecessary damage. Keep an eye on the large clusters that the Hostile Program towards you. It will either collide into you, or rapidly fire several lasers at you. These can easily be avoided, but may outnumber you. Once the Hostile Program has taken enough damage, it will begin to charge around the room several times, so quickly run to the center. It's second attack is similar to a laser pointer, emitting from it's hands. This attack is slow, but you will need to avoid them. A second occasion is when the Hostile Program sends these beams swarming all over the palce. It can be tricky to avoid, so watch the patterb carefully. Once you arrive at the Bailey, proceed to the area directly ahead. You will then encounter Demyx. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O \ \ HP: 1005 / Boss-Battle: Demyx / \ \ O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O ** Equip Comet, Explosion, and Slide Dash ** You are given 40 seconds at the beginning of this battle to defeat all the Demyx Forms. This means you will need to defeat one or two Demyx Forms one second apart. This does not give you a whole lot of time to defeat each of the Demyx Forms. Keep in mind, you can't perform the Wild Dance unless you attack them. While casting Donald's Comet, strike as many Demyx Forms as possible. Have Explosion equipped to boost effect. Once Donald's Comet has passed, you'll need to begin using your "Wild Dance" Reaction command to eliminate all of the remaining Demyx Forms. Unlike the Underworld, the battle will not be over after you have defeated the Demyx Forms. Once the Demyx Forms have been defeated, you will need to begin attack Demyx directly. However, Demyx can seem rather impossible, as his chain of attacks will not allow you to get anywhere near him. His most often used attack prompts several water columns to bust behind, or around Demyx. The attack is quite easy to avoid, but that is only when you keep your distance. That's not what you want to do in this battle. Save your Comet ability until Demyx either says "Water", or begins to rush around the area, creating several water columns to emerge behind or around him. This will interrupt his rampage, allowing you to get underneath Demyx. Your best chance to avoiding Demyx's chain of attacks is to run around the area in a giant circle while Demyx begins his rampage of water columns and deadly bubbles. This will avoid about 80% of Demyx's attacks. Once you reach Demyx, charge towards him at a distance, then finish with a couple combos. If he manages to counter with a series of consecutive blows, or several water columns, press the O button and back away. Eventually, he will begin to move slowly in your direction, with several columns of water emerging directly in front of him. Move away from Demyx, but don't let him corner you. You'll want to rely on using the O button each time Demyx manages to sweep you off your feet. If he happens to be close to you when this happens, you can press the O button, then quickly move behind him to counter Demyx. It is extremely important that you use the O button to regain your balance when Demyx knocks you off your feet. This prevents unnecessary problems. Here's a second tactic you could rely on. Cast Donald's Comet, and then go into Valor or Master Form. At that point, alternate between attacking, and casting Comet. At some point, Demyx will call on the Demyx Forms to attack. At that point, you'll have only ten seconds to quickly eliminate all ten Demyx Forms. The Explosion ability can make this a lot easier. You must be on the ball each moment you hear Demyx say, "Dance water, dance!". There's the odd occasion where Demyx runs at you and hits you with several consecutive blows. Avoid this by using the "Show Stealer" Reaciton command. If you cannot get near Demyx, back off and hit him with Thunder. Do not at any point during this battle use your Summon command. The man in black will cast you into the air several times, so you will need to regain your balance, pressing the O button each time this happens. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O \ \ HP: 1216 / Boss Battle: Storm Rider / \ \ O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O Starting at the beginning of the battle, push the Reaction command as they prompt you to do so. You will need to do this to remain on the Storm Rider. Nothing will happen when you fall off, it can just be rather irritating to reach the Storm Rider. Begin attacking the two horns on each side of the Storm Rider. Once you've dealt enough damage, the Storm Rider will land on the ground. At the point, switch into Drive Mode, then quickly begin attacking the Storm Ride. After it becomes airborne once again, revert out of Drive Mode. After you fall off the Storm Rider, and it will happen, locate the gust of wind nearby and use your Reaction commands to get back on top of the Storm Rider. Time to discuss the Storm Rider's attacks. First, the Storm Rider will escape to a distance and begin shooting a slew of energy balls. If this happens you will need to begin running around the perimeter. It's second attack will cause the Storm Rider to begin dropping bombs. You aren't given too much time, so you need to quickly place your back against the nearest wall, or use a nearby gust of wind to move out of it's path. It's third attack begins when the Storm Rider lands on the bridge, it will allow you to strike the Storm Rider quite a bit, but you'll need to remain close to it, and out of it's line of sight, otherwise you will be hit with a massive energy attack. It's fourth attack is prompted when the Storm Rider begins a slow approach in your direction. At this time, it will be at a very low altitude, but it will be high enough so you can't jump over top. This leaves you with using a Reaction command. Stand so you're directly in front of it and wait until it approaches. Once it is close enough, press the "Slide" Reaction command, then perform the "Vertigo Toss" Reaction command. This will perform a very powerful counter-attack. It's fifth attack is prompted when the Storm Rider soars into the air. The area around you will begin to glitter, so either cast Reflect, or move out of the way. One last note, while on top of the Storm Rider, if it prompts you to "Hang On", you need to use the Reaction command. Sora will automatically release his grip on the Storm Rider once you're safe, because the Storm Rider will occasionally perform a second aerial maneuver to make you fall off. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O \ \ HP: 1155 / Boss-Battle: Xaldin / \ \ O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O ** Equip Aerial Abilities and Donald's Comet ** Xaldin is quite a bit tougher than Demyx, but he can be defeated. You will not have much room to battle Xaldin, as you're battling on a small surface, so your attempts to keep your distance will not work. Even retreating will not work, as Xaldin can and will teleport. When you see the "Learn" Reaction command, press it rapidly, as many times as possible. This is a major advantage to defeating Xaldin, as he will not allow you to attack him throughout several moments of the battle. Once the "Learn" command disappears, a "Jump" command appears in the command window. Lock onto Xaldin, and then select the "Jump" command to perform a powerful attack. Refrain from casting Donald's Comet unless you either have plenty of magic restoration items, or know what you're doing, because Xaldin will sap your health like it was nothing. Plus it will have him airborne, which you will not want. Remember to press the O Button when Xaldin strikes you off your feet. This is necessary because you will not want Xaldin scoring too many consecutive blows on you. Now to discuss Xaldin's attacks. First, Xaldin will create several energy bombs that will be sent into your direction. These are homing missiles, so you need to keep moving until the energy bombs disperse. Second, Xaldin will become airborne and unreachable. This will prompt five spears to drop from above before Xaldin drops to the ground. Once you have seen the fifth spear, begin moving and don't stop until you can begin your attacks on Xaldin once again. Third, Xaldin begins a series of deadly combo attacks, remvoing about half your health bar. There isn't much you can do to avoid this, aside from the "Jump" command, or Donald's Comet. If they're not avaiable, spam the Guard command. Keep your distance if you see a green aura around Xaldin. Xaldin's next attack is prompted when he says, "Wind of despair!". It will transform Xaldin's spear into a dragon, thus sending a deadly gust of wind in your direction. You should be on the other side of the bridge once this happens, otherwise you lose about half your health bar from the attack. Fortunately, King Mickey will briefly take your place, should you not give up when it prompts you to make a choice. This will allow you to score some extra hits on Xaldin. King Mickey will resurrect Sora once your health bar runs out. Do not bother with your Drive commands unless you see enough of an opening to do so. You could use Master Form at the beginning, but after Xaldin has begun his "Wind of Despair" attack, don't even bother. If you run out of mana, you can collect MP Balls dropped by the Grim Reaper, every time you attack it while it's invulnerable. You may also cast Donald's Comet, as it does not require an entire mana bar. Casting Comet will cause the Grim Reaper to drop enough MP Balls to completely replenish your mana bar. At certain times, the "Hinder" Reaction command may appear, allowing you to deliver a critical, medallion stealing blow. This will usually happen after the Grim Reaper begins stealing the medallions. Continue attacking the Grim Reaper until you've collected each medallion it holds. Once you have collected enough medallions, approach the chest in the center and press the Reaction command to replenish it. Once enough medallions have been placed into the chest, you will be able to momentarily attack the Grim Reaper, so switch into Master Form, then hit it with everything you've got. The Grim Reaper will frequently spin wildly around the area. This can cause problems when attempting to collect the medallions, because the Grim Reaper will collect the loose medallions, and should you get close enough, it will throw you into the air, so you will need to counter with the O button, then begin recollecting the medallions. When Saïx is in Berserker Stance, he becomes a problem. Transform into the Berserker Stance and begin your Eclipse as often as possible. Once Saïx is down to two health bars, convert to Master or Final Form. Saïx begins a rampage, and it will become almost non-stop, breaking only a couple moments in between. They absorb your health quickly, so you need to head to Memory Skyscraper and perform several Reaction commands. There will be no Summons or Drive commands, and your buddies won't be here to support you. Fortunately, you have your Trinity. Xemnas can be defeated easily, so you don't rely much on strategy. - - - O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | Obtained Ansem's Report 13 | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O WARNING! This is your last Save Point in Kingdom Hearts II. You should complete each entry in Jiminy's Journal before you enter Kingdom Hearts. Before you battle Xemnas, you need to break past the several buildings. The "Slicer" Reaction command will prompt you momentarily. Enter the cave, then proceed onward and Xemnas will elevate you onto the platform. Approach and be prepared to dodge Xemnas with several Reaction commands. It will bring you onto Xemnas's reactor. <>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<> | | HP: 1000 STAGE TWO O Final Boss: Xemnas O | | <>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<> CYLINDERS: You have a "Left Cylinder", "Right Cylinder", and "Charge Gauge". The Left Cylinder and Right Cylinder will emit a massive amount of energy, but only once the Charge Gauge reaches maximum. Attack the Nobodies, but once you see a countdown, press your "Stunt Dodge" Reaction command. Failing to do so will result in a Game Over. When you've defeated enough Nobodies and have depleted a Cylinder Gauge, perform Stunt Dodge. ENERGY CORE: Alternate between the Energy Core and the Nobodies. The Energy Core cannot be eliminated with a barrier active. Press your "Proceed" Reaction command once you've eliminated the Energy Core. XEMNAS: Xemnas perform a cleave, but it doesn't deal much damage to your health. A precaution, you're safest to remain near Xemnas because he will cast magic. His basic defensive actions will include a barrier that performs knockback properties. This can be quickly countered with your Square Button. Xemnas shares a similar ability with Demyx, so perform the Wild Dance once you see nearby H2O Nobodies begin to spawn. Heal when Xemnas performs too many cleaves, or counter by performing Limit Breaks between Sora and Riku. Dodge the Snowflakes with the O Button to reset Xemnas. Glide down to Xemnas and attack Xemnas. Rinse and repeat to proceed to the Final Form of Xemnas. Perform Riku's Session Limit when needed. - - - <>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<> | | HP: 1500 FINAL FORM O Final Boss: Xemnas O | | <>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<> This battle will prompt you to perform Reversal incessantly. Using it will either dodge or send you behind Xemnas, prompting a surprise attack. The battle will begin with Xemnas beating Sora and Riku to oblivion. Start by performing your "Reversal" Reaction command repeatedly to dodge each of Xemnas's attacks. Once you reach the bottom, perform Limits as they become available and cast Heal when needed. Xemnas casts Teleport incessantly, so running will not be an option. Magic and Limits will be your safe harbor, but you must conserve them, otherwise he will imprison Sora. This will occur a couple times without much warning. You MUST reach Sora before Sora or Riku's health has depleted. Xemnas doesn't attack, but casts a barrier which has a bad knockback. Your best bet will be to run around Xemnas in a circular motion. After you have approached Sora, perform your "Rescue" Reaction command. Failing to rescue Sora will result in a Game Over. When Xemnas begins to engulf you in red lasers, either jump or perform the Guard command. Xemnas will make a much greater attempt once his health has nearly depleted. You will need to simultaneously spam your X Button and Triangle Button. If Xemnas depletes either Sora or Riku's health, you will receive a Game Over. - - - You've completed Kingdom Hearts II! IV. Swat each beehive and jar of honey to earn points, while performing a Reaction command on the gusts of wind to magnetize all nearby beehives, thus destroying them. This is absolutely necessary in completing Jiminy's objective. Each time you are struck by an oncoming object, you need to rescue Pooh by approaching him and pressing the Reaction command. After you've cleared the area below, you will be taken above to tackle the trees and honey jars. The trees can take several hits to destroy, and will require top priority, as they take up most of the screen. Fortunately, you won't be up there very long. In the final area, you'll be encountering trees, beehives, honey jars, and gusts of wind that will be moving. This will make it trickier to eliminate all the destructibles nearby. Your score needs to be almost perfect, so if you are missing quite a few objects, you'll want to restart this mini-game. Falling results in a lost attempt, so it helps to know the destination of your jump. You only get three attempts to score as many points as possible. Balloons will earn you a different amount of points, depending on how long you can remain in the air, and your current altitude. If you make it up to the top, pop the large yellow balloon to earn several points, and spawn an enormous amount of red balloons below.
