Something is wrong in the Sun

Astronomers used 3D modeling (https://youtu.be/k3Jvl3HZrqs) to
determine the origin of supra-darcade downdrafts on the Sun, which
are the dark finger-like structures seen during solar flares. They
turned out to be self-organizing structures formed due to Rayleigh
-Taylor and Richtmyer-Meshkov instabilities acting in a turbulent
region above groups of coronal loops. Superhardcadian downdrafts
(SAD) were first detected on the Sun in 1999 by the Yohkoh
spacecraft. These are dark, finger-shaped plasma streams that appear
during eruptive flares, are located above groups of coronal loops
and move towards the Sun. They often move at speeds much slower
than theory predicts
The number of sunspots for January was tabulated and again it turned
out that the solar cycle exceeded the official forecast. No one knows
how to explain this miracle.

NASA images show frozen polar ice caps at the Sun poles. In the
previous years same NASA SDO Sun images are without a polar cap.
Within the framework of generally accepted scientific theories, we
can talk about microns, about the loss of energy by the Sun, about
a change in the viscosity of the surface layers of a star, about the
transformation of the Sun into a neutron star, and so on. In any
case, the situation is tense.

to frighten astronomers with its pace of development, which does not
