Trump Touts Economic Record in Primetime Address as U.S. Unemployment Ticks Higher

President Trump touted his economic record in a primetime address
Wednesday, despite voters' growing concerns over affordability and the
job market.

President Donald Trump: "One year ago, our country was dead. We were
absolutely dead. Our country was ready to fail, totally fail. Now we're
the hottest country anywhere in the world."

This comes as the latest jobs report showed that unemployment in
November ticked up to 4.6%, the highest level since September 2021.
