Jack Smith Had "Proof Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" Trump Conspired to Overturn 2020 Election

Former Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith told lawmakers in a
closed-door session Wednesday that his team of investigators had
"developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt" that President Trump had
conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Smith also said
that his team had gathered "powerful evidence" that Trump broke the law
by taking classified documents from his first term in office to his
Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Smith's investigation had led to two
criminal indictments against Trump, which were shortly dropped by the
Justice Department after he won the 2024 election.
