Schmitz Golden Hill Software has released [1]CloudPull 2.1.2, which brings the Google-data backup application into compliance with the Gatekeeper security feature in OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion (for more details on Gatekeeper, see Rich Mogull's '[2]Answering Questions about Sandboxing, Gatekeeper, and the Mac App Store,' 25 June 2012). This release is available only for the direct download version from the Golden Hill Software Web site, and it is not available from Mac App Store as the update's addition of Gatekeeper compatibility does not apply to that edition. If you are updating CloudPull from a version prior to 2.1, it's advised that choose 'Always Allow' at a prompt asking you to grant access to the keychain password for each Google account you're backing up.
