          US Republican Presidential Candidates Appear at First Debate

   The kickoff to the 2016 U.S. presidential election began in Cleveland,
   Ohio, where Republican candidates took the stage at Quicken Loans Arena
   for the first debates. It was an event highly anticipated and closely
   monitored by many conservative voters across the host city. VOA's Kane
   Farabaugh reports.
