US COVID-19 Unemployment Aid Deadline Looms

   WASHINGTON - The White House and U.S. lawmakers are rapidly running out
   of time to negotiate a second massive round of aid that would address
   the twin economic and health crises in the United States caused by the
   coronavirus pandemic.

   Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and White House chief of staff Mark
   Meadows were again on Capitol Hill Wednesday for talks with House
   Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
