Weather Situation
A broad low pressure trough over the west will deepen today, drawing heat and
moisture into the State as a low and cold front develops to the south. The
trough will push into the northeast during the first half of this week.
Meanwhile, a high pressure ridge will build across the west and south.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 21 December
Cloudy. Medium chance of showers. A thunderstorm likely, possibly severe with
damaging winds and heavy rain which may lead to flash flooding. Winds west to
northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h.

Forecast for Monday 22 December
Partly cloudy. Medium chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm in the
early morning. Winds west to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h shifting east to
southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h in the late morning and early afternoon then
tending northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening. Overnight
temperatures falling to between 18 and 23 with daytime temperatures reaching 27
to 32.

south to southeasterly in the early afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling
to between 13 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching around 30.
