Weather Situation A broad low pressure trough over the west will deepen today, drawing heat and moisture into the State as a low and cold front develops to the south. The trough will push into the northeast during the first half of this week. Meanwhile, a high pressure ridge will build across the west and south. Forecast for the rest of Sunday 21 December Cloudy. High chance of showers. A thunderstorm likely, possibly severe with damaging winds and heavy, possibly intense rain which may lead to flash flooding.
