Weather Situation
A broad low pressure trough over the west will deepen on Sunday, drawing heat
and moisture into the State as a low and cold front develops to the south. The
trough will push into the northeast early in the new working week. Following
this, a high pressure ridge will build across the west and south early next
week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 21 December
Partly cloudy. High chance of showers, becoming less likely in the late
afternoon and evening. A thunderstorm likely, possibly severe with destructive
winds, large hail and heavy, possibly intense rain which may lead to flash
flooding. Winds northwesterly 25 to 40 km/h turning southwesterly 30 to 45 km/h
in the afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures in the low to mid 30s.
