DIR Alpha Microsystems - AMOS Software Archive
This is the Alpha Micro Users Society Network Library. It contains
freely distributable (though not necessarily freeware or public
domain) files of relevance to Alpha Microsystems machines,
including BASIC and M68 assembler source code where available.
Although I was once told that AMUS would be offering these
themselves to members, AMUS is no longer, and I have had no
further communications with its President. Since these files are
freely distributable in any case, I offer them here. Alpha Micro
machines with the GAMBLE gopher client can read them directly.
Descriptions in this menu and in the individual PPNs are based
on START.CMD and/or DIRECT.HLP, whichever is available. In a
few cases these files are not current with what is actually in
the PPN. I have not changed this, partially due to laziness and
partially in the interest of historical preservation, but all
files in that PPN are listed below so that you can find a file
that is apparently missing. (Some were actually never present.)
Some PPNs were empty. I have nevertheless included them so that
you can tell what was once offered.
This archive was generated off a defective disc in a wonky CD-ROM
attached to an old workhorse. A few files were not readable at
all and I have completely excluded them. Some may be truncated.
