# Connecting with Atomic **Warning: due to using IRCv3 in ZNC, it's not possible to connect to ZNC using recent versions of atomic. please use v1.14, or another irc client.** [Atomic](/https://papertape.zaibatsutel.net/Atomic/) is an open-source IRC client for Android. # Tap `Add server`.\\ Attach:atomic-home.png # Fill in the details:\\ Attach:atomic-server.png # `Title`: the name of the network you want to connect to. # `Host`: the bouncer server address (it should look like example.ircnow.org) # `Port`: 31337 # `Password`: `username/network:password` -- for example, if your username is `john`, the network you want to connect to is `ircnow`, and your password is `abcde12345`, then fill in `john/ircnow:abcde12345` # Check `Use SSL` # Check `Auto connect on startup` # `Nickname`: the bouncer username you registered # `Real Name`: any name is fine. # Tap on `Save` at the bottom-right corner # Tap on the network to connect.\\ Attach:atomic-home2.png # If you see a message saying ZNC is not yet connected, type `/znc connect` -- wait a few minutes to connect.
