1 #### Chicken Karahi
2 (Serves ~3-4)

4 - Ingredients
5 + 1 onion, chopped
6 + 1 1/2 Tbsp oil
7 + 1 inch ginger, minced with mortar and pestle
8 + 2 garlic cloves, minced together with ginger in mortar and pestle
9 + 500 g chicken cut into bitesize pieces - preferably legs because the bones can give a better taste
10 + 3 cups chopped tomatoes
11 + 1 tsp cumin powder
12 + ~4 green chilies, chopped - may need more or less depending on the spicyness of the chilies
13 + 1 tsp salt
14 + 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
15 + 1 tsp garam masala
16 + 1 tsp coriander powder
17 - Instructions
18 + Heat oil in a large pan - optimally an actual karahi, but other pans will do.
19 + Fry onion pieces until golden.
20 + Add ginger and garlic mix, keep frying until they also are golden.
21 + Add cumin, salt, turmeric and garam masala.
22 + Add chicken and fry until it starts turning brown.
23 + Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies.
24 + Simmer on low heat for ~30 min.
25 + Optionally garnish with cilantro, but shame be upon you if you actually like that.
