Some new stuff for aNONradio

A while back I posted a phlog about me uploading content for the
aNONradio general playlist.  Since then I have been listening (and
taking a look at the playlist of recently played content with '@' in
COM) and I hadn't seen anything that I added play.

I was starting to think that the general playlist was bugged, was
stuck and couldn't receive any updates.  Well today that changed.
Suddenly lots of tracks I've uploaded are playing during "filler
time".  This is the general playlist time when a live show (or
pre-recorded "podcast-style" show) isn't airing.

I know the admins at SDF have been doing a lot of work recently and
updating stuff so maybe they fixed something.  Or, maybe it just
takes a long time for things to get "into the mix".

Either way I'm happy this is happening because the same 'ol tracks
were getting old and repetitive.  Of course a lot of the old stuff is
still there but now there's some new stuff too.  I hope other DJs
(we should just call them show-hosts) upload more general playlist
stuff as well.  Even Publius could upload ... oh I don't know, a
poem or short story that can be read in < 8 minutes.

I guess the reason I care at all is I kind of love aNONradio, or at
least the idea of it, and I'd like to see it be a thing that people
just kind of tune into and leave on as they go about their day, not
just something they only tune into at specific times to hear specific
shows.  I mean that too, of course, but also something that's more
akin to FM radio.  If an FM radio station played the same stuff every
day well people would just tune out.  Oh wait, that basically is what
happened with FM huh?
