Okay, so I think I have got chan.py figured out and working,
         writing a post in vim.

I think this is incredibly important...
Not what I'm posting, but this tool:
         gopherchan.
With ever increasing surveillance and censorship and BULLSHITE
on the garrish and gaudy WWW, the gopher protocol could, and, I
imagine, WILL, prove an important and effective communications
tool for those who choose to live in a FREE world!
But it generally, I thought, lacked realtime communications,
         and interactivity.

         But this gopherchan changes that.
Where I can I find the serverside software for this?

I would like to host a board in my own gopherhole
         (gopher://tonybaldwin.me)

I was thinking of trying to write something, but, why reinvent
the wheel, if someone has written something, and, of course,
         if they're willing to share?

         thanks.

Yes. I have friends using gopher. I hope I can interest them in this board.

I've linked to port70.net from my gopherspace and alerted the !gopher
group on identi.ca, in which I have friends, of the existence of this
         board.

For some reason, I could not link directly to gopherchan.
         Tried:
         1Gopherchan /1board/b/ port70.net
and a few other configurations (like specifying the port, etc), but they all fai
Perhaps I have the link wrong.
I confess, I was looking at a gopherspace in iceweasel, rather than
simply gopher in my bash-cli (which I am using now),
so perhaps the link is weird in a graphical browser.
Sadly, having only been using gopher for a couple of months,
I haven't figured out how to view the URI of a gopherpage while using
         cli gopher.

But I did link to the port70.net landing page, and it's easy enough to
find your way in from there, of course.

         ./t
